Lead Groups
Lead groups
Lead groups help collect subscribers around one page and a short public ID. A group can be limited to selected channels, connected to auto-subscribe keywords, assigned a separate agent for its members, and presented as a separate subscription page.
Open "Leads" → "Lead groups". The List tab shows the name, public list visibility, channels, and update date. Use search to find a group. Its row menu lets you open settings for the selected group or delete it.
To add a group, click Add in the top bar. When the list is empty, there is a separate button in the center of the page. In the creation dialog, enter the name, optionally add a description, and click Add.
What you can do
- create a lead group;
- find a group by name, description, public link, channel, or keyword;
- choose whether the group works in all channels or only selected ones;
- set keywords that add a lead to the group;
- assign a primary or background agent for group members;
- configure the Telegram bot menu button to open the group catalog or a specific group;
- configure subscription pages to open as a Mini App inside MAX;
- configure the subscription page with draft autosave;
- insert group, project, and lead variables into page text;
- request phone or email during subscription and save them into lead variables;
- create consent documents and attach them to the group;
- upload images for the subscription page;
- publish saved page changes;
- get a web, Telegram, MAX, or VK link;
- delete the group if it is no longer needed.
On the general Settings tab, subscription methods open as separate cards: the Telegram bot app button, Telegram Mini App, MAX Mini App, and VK App community page. Select the card for the flow you want to configure. Each card has its own address, so you can open the needed subsection or share its direct link with a teammate.
Group settings
The Settings tab for the selected group defines its name, description, list visibility, channels, auto-subscribe keywords, group agents, contact request, and required consents.
The built-in AI assistant can be used in the name and description fields: it suggests wording, shows the original and revised text, and applies a change only after confirmation.
The "List visibility" switch affects only the channel group catalog when the user opens the page without a specific group. If the group is hidden from the list, a published direct link to this group can still open as long as the group is not deleted, the page is published, and the selected channel is included in the published channel scope.
Channels can stay in All channels mode or use Selected only. In the second mode, find a connection through search, select the required VK, Telegram, or MAX channels, and click Save. The link and subscription will work only for the selected channels.
Auto-subscribe keywords are used in scenarios where a bot or automation adds a lead to the group by word. Add only words that should actually place a lead into this group.
Group agents
In group settings, choose a separate primary and background agent for members of this group. In the selector, use search and choose an agent or "No agent". This assignment is tied to the lead group, not to one channel, so the same group agent can work in different allowed channels of the group.
Auto-assignment priority is: agent keywords → lead group rule → channel rule → project rule. If a lead belongs to several active groups with rules, the system checks those groups in the order of the lead's activity. To explicitly assign no agent for a group, choose "No agent" for the needed role.
Changing group agents requires permission to manage lead groups and assign agents. If the field is unavailable, check the project member role and agent access.
Publishing and deleting a group
A working group is considered active. The current group actions menu lets you copy or delete it. After deletion, the group is hidden from normal work: it cannot be used for public subscription, links, or auto-subscription.
A new group is usually created immediately with a basic published page. Publishing is needed for later page and settings changes: first the draft is autosaved, then Publish applies it to the public version.
The group stores a current draft and a separate published version. It contains the group settings and page content that subscribers will see. Public links, the group catalog, and keyword auto-subscription use this published version, not the latest unsaved or unpublished edits.
If the current draft differs from the published version, the interface shows an unpublished changes warning and an action to revert to the published version.
List visibility is not the same as publishing: visibility controls whether the published group appears in the channel catalog, while publishing controls which saved version is currently applied to users. A direct link to a published group checks the published page and channel availability, not a separate link access switch.
Subscription page
The Page tab opens the subscription page editor. In it, you can change block order, hide blocks, duplicate them, edit content, add images, insert variables, and change the button action.
The page and group settings draft is autosaved after changes. The editor header shows whether changes are saving, saved, or failed to save. If there are changes that are saved but not yet applied, the cabinet shows a warning about unpublished changes and lets you revert the draft to the published version. The "Publish" button applies the current saved draft to the public page.
If the user tries to leave the page before autosave finishes, the cabinet warns that unsaved changes may be lost.
The same tab shows the subscription page web link. If the link is still loading or unavailable, the cabinet shows the loading state or an unavailable message. You can copy the link or open it in a new window.
Available blocks in the editor: cover, text, button, image, advantages, reviews, products, video, timer, consents, and divider.
The built-in AI assistant can be used in page text and simple editor fields. It suggests a draft and shows the original and revised text; the public page changes only after the edit is accepted, autosaved, and published.
Images for the cover, image block, and other elements are uploaded to project storage. PNG, JPEG, and WebP are supported up to 10 MB and up to 8000 px in width or height. Save the group first: image upload is unavailable for an unsaved group.
The button action can be "Subscription" or "External link". Hidden blocks remain in the page draft but are not shown in the published version.
If a text block is empty, it still keeps a small spacing area on the page. Delete or hide the block if the empty space is not needed.
Until the page is published, the public link may open as not found or unavailable.
Consents And Contact Data
In a project, you can create consent documents for lead group pages: for example personal data processing consent, advertising consent, or an offer. A document can be updated by versions and archived so it is not used in new settings while history remains available.
Open Add consent. Choose an existing document or click Create document to start with blank text, upload a finished PDF, or use a template. Built-in templates include personal data processing consent, advertising messages consent, and personal data distribution consent; adapt their text to the legal entity, contacts, processing purposes, and real project channels.
In the group, choose which consents to show on the public page and in which order they appear. An added document can be edited or removed from the group. The current document version is used; up to 20 consents can be set in one group.
Saving an edited document creates a new version, while previous versions remain available for viewing only. To view an older text or PDF, open document editing, click Version history, and choose the required version. Groups automatically use the latest document version.
Contact request can be enabled separately for phone and email. For phone, choose the lead variable that stores the number; for email, choose the variable that stores the address. The contact is saved only after successful subscription. If a required consent was not accepted, the subscription will not finish and the page will ask the user to accept the consent.
Page variables
You can insert variables into page text fields using the {{namespace.name}} format.
Available variable types:
{{lead_group.name}}and{{lead_group.description}}- the current group's name and description;{{global.name}}- project global variables;{{lead.name}}- lead variables.
A new page uses {{lead_group.name}} and {{lead_group.description}} in cover and CTA blocks by default, so the group name and description can be changed in settings without manually rewriting page text.
Group variables are always available. Global variables come from project settings. Lead variables are inserted only when the public page is opened in a verified platform app context; without a verified context they remain empty.
From the insert dialog, you can create a global variable or a lead variable definition and immediately insert its token into the field. Group variables are system-provided and are not created separately.
Page Draft During Import And Copying
If a group is transferred through import or a resource package, it must have a correct saved page draft. If the draft is missing when a new group is created, the cabinet creates a default page.
For an existing group, the page cannot be reset with an empty draft: the editor must receive a normal page structure with supported blocks. If the structure is damaged, the page may fail to save or publish.
Supported blocks match what is visible in the editor: cover, text, button, image, advantages, reviews, products, video, timer, and service blocks such as consents or divider.
Block text can contain group, project, and lead variables. If a lead variable is not inserted on the public page, check that the page is opened in a verified platform context.
Public page domain
The group's web link opens on the public page domain, not on the cabinet domain. This is normal: the subscriber should land on the published page, not in the cabinet.
The public page shows a clear loading or subscription status. The channel group catalog opens without a specific group and shows only published groups that are not deleted, are enabled in the public list, and are available for the selected channel. Open a group through its catalog card.
Public ID is the group's short identifier in the link. Do not confuse it with the group ID in the cabinet: for the user and the agent, the important thing is the public link shown by the cabinet.
If the web link is not created or points to the wrong domain, check the public page domain, link settings, and VK app parameters if the link should open inside VK. For the user this usually appears as a page that does not open, a data loading error on the published page, or an unavailable VK app variant.
Link generation
The Get link button opens the links dialog, where you can choose a channel type, find a channel through search, and select a channel or "All channels".
For "All channels", the cabinet shows the general web page link. For a specific channel, available variants depend on the type and settings: channel web page, VK app, Telegram bot, Telegram Mini App, MAX bot, MAX Mini App, short VK link, or direct VK link. A regular Telegram or MAX link opens the bot, while a Mini App opens the page inside the platform app. For VK, the interface shows a community messages link, direct link, or app/page link if the channel has the required identifier, a valid token, and the lead page app is configured.
The cabinet may show several link variants: web page, VK messages link, VK app, Telegram bot, Telegram Mini App, MAX bot, or MAX Mini App. Each variant may have its own availability state. Choose the variant that fits the selected channel, not just the first link.
If a specific variant is unavailable, the cabinet shows the reason: channel not found, channel type mismatch, token not configured, VK identifier missing, VK app not configured or not installed in the community, Telegram/MAX bot username missing, or Mini App not yet confirmed.
You can copy a ready link. When a variant needs preparation, use its setup action; the cabinet shows waiting for the result while it checks.
If VK App is configured but not yet confirmed for the community, the cabinet shows a "Confirm" action. It opens setup in VK and shows which community requires installation, while the cabinet waits for confirmation and refreshes the link automatically. On the public side, open VK App installation, click "Install", and choose the exact community shown. Choosing another community does not confirm installation for the selected channel. Confirmation runs automatically after the app opens inside the correct community.
If automatic confirmation fails after the app opens inside the correct community, click Retry. If the page says a different community is open, return to the cabinet and start Confirm again for the specified channel.
To get a link, the group must be saved and not deleted. For public opening, the user needs a published page; if the group is limited to selected channels, the selected channel must be included in the published channel scope.
Telegram Mini App
For a Telegram channel, you can configure opening the subscription page inside Telegram Mini App. In the "Get link" dialog, this option is shown as "Telegram Mini App".
There are two open methods:
- Main Mini App changes the Open App button in the bot profile and does not require a short name;
- Separate Mini App does not replace the bot's main app, opens through a direct link such as
t.me/bot/app, and requires the short name from BotFather. The cabinet marks this method as recommended.
Open the Settings tab above the group list, find the required Telegram channel in the "Open the page inside Telegram" block, and click Configure.
In the step-by-step dialog, choose Main Mini App or Separate Mini App. For either method, first open BotFather, click Open, select the required bot under My bots, go to Mini Apps → Direct Links → Create Direct Link, fill in the app details, and paste the exact subscription page address from the cabinet into Enter URL.
For a Separate Mini App, enter the part after the bot name in the created link into the short name field. It may contain 3 to 30 Latin letters, digits, and _ characters. Changing a saved short name resets confirmation for the Separate Mini App, so verify it again. For a Main Mini App, return to Mini Apps after creating the Direct Link, open Main App, and enter the same address; Senler does not require a short name for this method.
Click Check in Telegram: the cabinet saves the short name when needed and opens Telegram for confirmation. If the browser does not open Telegram automatically, the same dialog shows a ready Open verification in Telegram link. A verification attempt remains valid for 10 minutes; start a new one after it expires.
Main and Separate Mini Apps have independent statuses: confirming one method does not confirm the other. After a successful check, the selected status becomes "Confirmed"; while checking it shows "Checking", and a problem changes it to "Error" with a reason. When both methods are confirmed, the group link opens through the Separate Mini App with its short name, while the Open App button in the bot profile continues to use the Main Mini App.
After the Telegram transition, a Mini App verification screen opens. It shows checking, successful confirmation, or an error in sequence. If it asks you to open the check inside Telegram Mini App, return to the cabinet and start Check in Telegram for the same bot; a regular browser does not pass the data required for confirmation.
The Telegram Mini App link is available when the selected Telegram bot has a username and at least one Mini App variant is confirmed. If the link is unavailable, the cabinet offers "Configure Mini App".
If checking fails, verify:
- the channel has an active Telegram bot and username;
- the bot is not paused, and the token is configured and valid;
- BotFather has the exact address shown in the cabinet Mini App setup dialog, unchanged; do not use another project's address or replace it with the general domain;
- for a Separate Mini App, the short name matches the Direct Link and contains 3-30 Latin letters, digits, or
_; - the check was opened from the same Telegram bot and has not expired;
Mini App confirmation does not depend on a specific lead group. If checking succeeds but the required group link does not open, separately verify that the group page is published and the selected Telegram channel is included in its published channel scope.
When a user opens subscription through Telegram Mini App, the page needs current Telegram context. If the context is not verified, expired, or belongs to another channel, subscription may be unavailable.
MAX Mini App
The subscription page and launch button in MAX are configured as one option. Senler controls the page content, while MAX controls the launch button appearance and availability for the permanent address. This address does not change when switching between the catalog and one group.
You do not need to recreate existing groups. For one-group mode, publish the existing group and make it available to the required MAX channel.
Open the Settings tab above the group list, select the MAX Mini App card, find the MAX channel, and click Configure. In the setup dialog, follow these connection steps:
- Click Open MAX for Business and sign in to the organization that owns the required chatbot.
- In MAX, open Chatbots → the required bot → Advanced settings → Configure.
- Take the permanent subscription page HTTPS address, click copy, and paste it unchanged into the Mini App address field in MAX. In the same section, choose the launch button appearance. To disable the button, remove the Mini App address in MAX.
- Click Check in MAX and confirm launch for the same bot inside MAX. If MAX does not open automatically, use the Open verification in MAX link that appears in the dialog.
Below the connection steps, choose what the permanent button opens: Group list or One group. For the second option, select a published group available to this MAX channel and click Save. This group can be hidden from the general catalog with List visibility disabled: the permanent button still opens it directly. You can select the content before or after Mini App confirmation.
After verification starts, the status first shows Checking and then changes to Confirmed or Error. The verification link remains valid for 10 minutes. The list also shows the last check time and a clear error reason, such as an expired check, invalid token, different bot, or mismatched address. If the cabinet reports that verification is already running, wait for the current attempt; start a new one after it expires. Close the dialog without starting a new check with Cancel.
A Mini App verification screen opens in MAX. A regular browser does not provide signed MAX data, so start verification with Check in MAX and open it inside that same Mini App. After successful verification, the cabinet refreshes the status automatically.
The MAX Mini App link appears in the Get link dialog when a MAX channel with an active token and bot username is selected and the confirmed Mini App belongs to that same bot. If setup is incomplete, Configure MAX Mini App is available instead of the link.
The option saved in Senler controls what the permanent MAX button opens when there is no launch parameter. A separate group link can pass its own launch parameter and open that group regardless of the permanent button setting. Selecting a group from the catalog opens it inside the same Mini App and preserves the MAX channel. If the group selected for the permanent button is unpublished or removed from the MAX channel, the page becomes unavailable and does not silently switch to the catalog; select another published group or Group list mode.
Subscription completes only after the user and channel are verified inside MAX; if the context is missing, expired, or belongs to another bot, the page shows an error. When the group requires a phone number, email, or consents, the user completes the form directly inside MAX without reopening the bot.
Direct Mini App subscription accepts a launch without a parameter from the permanent button or a group parameter from a link created by Senler. If MAX provides an unrelated or custom launch parameter, the page does not use it for direct subscription and opens the regular current-group bot link. Use the link from Get link instead of a custom start parameter for a predictable transition.
VK App
The community page in the app provides a permanent entry in one VK community for either its group catalog or one selected group. Open the general lead group settings and select the card for this option.
Find the required VK community in the list and click Configure. In the setup dialog, click Install in VK and add the app to that exact community. A checking status is shown while the cabinet waits for VK; after confirmation, the action changes to Open in VK.
Choose Group list or One group. In the second mode, select a published group available to this VK community and click Save. The target group can be hidden from the general catalog without preventing the app from opening it directly. You can save the content selection before installing the app, and the app entry address does not change when the mode changes. Use Cancel to close the dialog without saving a new selection.
VK passes community and user data when the installed app opens. The permanent page therefore works only inside that same community when the VK channel is not paused, has a usable token, and the current VK App installation is confirmed. If the cabinet shows Not confirmed again, open Install in VK and confirm the app in the specified community again. Opening a group from the catalog preserves the verified VK context, so during normal use the user does not need to reinstall the app or select the community again. If the selected group later becomes unpublished or unavailable to this VK channel, the app shows that it is unavailable instead of silently switching to the catalog. Restore group access or save another target.
Subscription Through Bots And VK
When a user opens a public page and clicks the main subscription button, a channel picker appears when several variants are available. After choosing a subscription option, the page either opens a form or sends the user to the required Telegram or MAX bot.
The subscription form may ask for a phone number, email, and required consents. Consent text can be opened, downloaded, or saved as PDF. Click confirm subscription after filling the form; the page shows a loading state while the request runs. In a verified VK App or MAX Mini App context, the form is submitted directly from the app. Close a modal with its close button.
For a VK channel, the regular web page prefers VK App: selecting the channel opens the app inside that exact community. The page requests community message permission once inside VK and completes subscription using signed VK launch data. If VK App is unavailable for the community, the fallback link opens community messages and the user must send a message.
Telegram menu button
The group settings tab has a "Telegram bot menu button" block. This permanent button appears next to the Telegram message field and opens the group list or a selected page. The block shows a preview, the available Telegram channels, and a clear button state: not configured, awaiting verification, active, or failed. Check compares the current setup with Telegram and refreshes the state and error message.
Open a channel and choose Do not set, the channel group catalog, or a specific group. For an enabled button, enter its text; in specific group mode, choose the group and click Apply. If the selected group is not yet published for the Telegram channel, the cabinet offers to include the channel in the group settings, publish the group, and set the menu button immediately. Check the channel and group in the confirmation dialog: Add and set performs all three operations.
Limits: the channel must be a Telegram channel from this project, not paused, and have an active valid token. The specific group mode requires a published page that is available to the selected Telegram channel. Disabling restores the default Telegram menu button; enabling first shows a pending state, and after checking it becomes active or failed.
If checking reports that the target page is unavailable, publish the group and add the selected Telegram channel to it, or select another group or the catalog. If the button is still set after choosing Do not set, check the channel token, apply the disabled option again, and click Check. When the text or address does not match, apply the required option again: the cabinet compares the saved setting with the actual Telegram button.
Public subscription statuses
The public page may show that the user subscribed, was already subscribed, unsubscribed, must pay for subscription, must accept consent, or that subscription is currently unavailable.
Payment requirement means the group needs a payment flow. If it is not configured, the user cannot complete subscription from this page.
Unavailable usually means that the source, channel, token, subscription option, or user identity on the platform was not verified.
Consent requirement means the user did not accept one or more required consents. VK App requests community message permission before it sends the subscription to the server.
Limits and permissions
Viewing the section and the Telegram Mini App, MAX Mini App, VK App, and menu button states requires access to project leads. Creating, saving, publishing, deleting, selecting channels, generating links, and starting checks require lead management permission.
Publishing and deleting are medium-risk actions: they change public page availability and can affect lead subscription.
If the link or subscription does not work
Check in order:
- the group is not deleted;
- the subscription page and group settings are autosaved and published;
- the public ID in the link matches the group;
- the selected channel is connected and included in the group's published allowed channel list;
- the web link opens on the public page domain;
- if the group must appear in the catalog, list visibility is enabled in the published settings;
- the Telegram or MAX channel has a bot username;
- the VK channel is not paused and has a valid token and community identifier for links;
- the "Confirm" action is available for the VK App variant; if the cabinet says the app is not configured, that link cannot be created yet;
- if the cabinet asks to install VK App, select the exact community shown on the installation page;
- the user opened the link from the correct platform channel or app;
- for VK app, Telegram Mini App, or MAX Mini App, the platform context is current and belongs to the selected channel;
- if subscription asks for consent, the user accepted the required consents;
- if VK asks for message permission, the user allowed community messages;
- for Telegram or MAX, the bot transition link has not expired;
- for MAX Mini App, the bot username is set, the token is active, the permanent address from Senler is saved unchanged in that same bot's settings, and verification has the Confirmed status;
- MAX Mini App verification was opened inside MAX, not in a regular browser, and belongs to the same bot; if the platform did not open automatically, use the ready link in the setup dialog;
- the group selected for the permanent MAX button or VK community page is published and available to the corresponding channel; an unavailable target intentionally does not fall back to the catalog;
- VK App is installed and opened inside that same active community rather than as a regular browser page;
- for the Telegram menu button, the channel is not paused and the token is configured and valid;
- for the Telegram menu button in specific group mode, the group is published and available to the selected Telegram channel;
- if Telegram menu button checking shows a mismatch, the actual Telegram button points elsewhere or has different text and must be set again;
- the keyword exists in the published group settings if auto-subscription is triggered by a word;
- if lead variables are empty, the page is open inside the correct VK, Telegram, or MAX app and the user is recognized;
- if the page does not save after import or copying, the block structure matches the supported editor blocks;
- if an image does not upload, the file is PNG, JPEG, or WebP, up to 10 MB, width and height up to 8000 px, and the group has already been saved.
