Message Actions
The menu contains actions for the selected message. What is available depends on the message type, connected channel, and your permissions.
To open the required action:
- Open Dialogs in the project side menu, choose a conversation on the section page, and find the required message.
- On a computer, right-click the message in the chat. On a phone or tablet, press and hold it to open the message actions menu.
- To discuss the message with the assistant, select Ask AI.
- To change sent text, select Edit.
- To view event details, select Information.

The same menu may also contain reply, copy, delete, and attachment actions. Actions unavailable for the selected message are hidden or accompanied by an explanation.
For an internal comment, choose Note. It is linked to this message and is not sent to the customer. See Message Notes for how to save it and find it later.
Reply, Copy, Edit, or Delete a Message
Reply to a Message
Open the menu and select Reply. The selected message appears above the input. Write your response and send it as usual.
For details about the input and reply mode, see How to Send Messages in a Dialog.
Copy Text or a Link
Select Copy to copy the message text, or Copy link to get a link to this event in the cabinet dialog.
Edit a Message
Select Edit. The text opens in the input. Make your changes and select the send button to save the new version.
You can edit only messages that the connected channel allows you to change. Incoming customer messages cannot be edited. If the action is unavailable, the cabinet shows the reason.
A long outgoing VK text may be sent in several parts. Such a message cannot be edited yet: the menu states that it consists of several parts. This prevents the cabinet from changing only part of the text that has already reached the recipient.
Delete a Message
Before deleting, make sure you selected the correct message: there is no separate confirmation. Then select Delete. Whether deletion is available, and for how long, depends on the connected channel. After deletion, a Message deleted marker may remain in the history.
If a long VK message was delivered in several parts, Delete applies to all of its parts known to Senler AI.
Ask AI About a Message
After you select Ask AI, a new assistant dialog opens with the selected message already attached. Add your question and send it.
Only the selected message is attached to the new dialog automatically, not the whole conversation. If earlier or later messages matter, include the required details in your question. This action does not send anything to the customer or change the source message.
View Information and Edit History
Select Information to open message details. The panel is described in Message Information.
If an edited label appears next to the message, select it to view the text versions, sender, date, and time of each entry.
Jump to a Related Message
In a reply, select the source message preview to jump to it in the history. A forwarded message preview works the same way.
Actions for Specific Message Types
Download or Forward an Attachment
Open the attachment's own menu. It may contain Download, Open by link, and Forward to me. The cabinet shows only actions available for the selected file and channel.
For details about files and other attachment types, see Attachments and Voice Messages.
Mark an Email as Spam
For an incoming message in an email channel, the menu includes Mark as spam until the dialog has been marked as spam. This action does not appear for other messages.
Open Telegram Post Comments
If a publication has a linked discussion thread, a View comments button appears below it. Select the button to open the comments for that post instead of the general dialog history.
In this mode, you can read comments and reply in the selected thread. Back to dialog opens the regular history. The view comments button appears only for a publication whose related discussion thread was recognized by the cabinet.
View Information About AI Activity
Several consecutive records about AI activity may be combined into one row. Select Technical events to expand these records.
Inside, expand a Progress update with the arrow next to it. It is an intermediate explanation of the agent's work, not a finished reply to the client. If the agent calls a tool after text has appeared, that temporary text is removed from the unfinished reply and saved as a separate Progress update; the final reply appears separately after the work is complete.
You can also expand tool call information. The analytics button opens message information in a side panel. If a summary arrow appears next to it, select the arrow to show or hide a short summary directly in the history.
