Reviews block

Purpose

Reviews provides social proof with a shared section heading and individual comments from customers or participants.

Appearance on the landing

In the Reviews preview, every entry is a separate row containing an avatar, name, and text.

If no photo is uploaded, the first letter of the name appears instead. When the name is also empty, a default user icon is used.

Settings

Hover over the block and select the Reviews edit icon. The Reviews settings panel opens.

The section has a shared Title and introductory Text. Each review provides:

• Item title — this field is used as the author name in a Reviews block.
• Item image — the author photo or avatar.
• Item text — the formatted review itself.

A new block contains two empty reviews. Use Add item to create another one or the trash icon to delete a particular card.

Empty fields and limits

Empty fields are allowed. A card without a name, text, or image remains in the editor with a warning but is not shown to visitors. Filling any of these fields makes the card appear on the site.

When no reviews are populated, the whole section is omitted, including its shared heading and text. The placeholders remain in the draft and publication history.
